Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding unit has designed a unique keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of the company. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight keys, as well as an original 1930s booklet that features never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics
Bentley is a firm that takes its aesthetics very seriously. Design

A customized heating, air conditioning and ventilation system has been developed to ensure that every passenger has the ideal temperature control.
The Mulsanne comes with a twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine with 560bhp and 479lb-ft torque. This incredible power is complemented with a new suspension which provides Bentley's renowned smooth ride.
Bentley has released a special specification for cars made after 2019 to commemorate its centenary. This is called the Centenary Specification. The cabin has cross-stitching, and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests seats, the interior and other areas of the car. This is a great way to celebrate the occasion. A bespoke Bentley key case is also included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.
Function
The Bentley Mulsanne key features buttons that open the trunk and another which starts the car. It also has a switch to switch on the parking break. There is a knob to fold and unfold the mirrors while parking in tight spots. This feature makes it easier to get into and out of your car.
Each key takes about two days to make. It is cut by hand to shape, sewn sealed and polished to provide a high-quality finish. It is strong compact and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is akin to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key, but it feels much heavier and has a premium feel.
It also comes with Secure-A-Key that helps to prevent theft of keys with no key. The device is inserted into the remote control fob, and then shuts it off if the key is not used for a few minutes. It blocks thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can be used to unlock and start the car.

Personalisation
Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to create their own vehicle. The guests sit at a collection of images referred to as "mood stations" and select a series of photos ranging from scenic views to sporting events that inspire them. When each selection is made, a pattern will emerge and reveals the model and color preferences for the custom Bentley.
The guests receive keys made by hand and containing the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys can be equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the way of the entrance door, and display the owner's name or logo as they approach the car.
Bentley estimates that it requires 500 man-hours to construct and put together a Mulsanne. A key to that time-consuming effort is a deliberate decision to take advantage of modern technology. The Crewe factory workers do not utilize a machine for arranging perfectly matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. Drivers have to park their cars manually, instead of using the built-in sensors to direct them to perpendicular and parallel spots.
The event also saw Bentley presented its Mulliner personalization capabilities using one of a kind of the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays tribute to the founding father of the brand, William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars are available in 100. an exclusive key that shows a slice of the 1930 8 Litre's crankshaft.
